About Vibrolith
VIBROLITH is an effective intracorporeal pneumatic lithotripter designed to rapidly treat urinary tract stones in the kidney, ureter and bladder using ballistic shock waves. Ballistic shock waves created by the control unit with pressurized medical air are transmitted to the stone with a tissue-compatible, stainless steel probe attached to the handpiece unit. No heat is generated since ballistic energy is generated only with compressed air. Therefore, it does not cause any tissue damage caused by heat or damage to the optics of the endoscope.
