Ureteral Stents are used for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. Geotek Urethral Stents & DJ Stents have variations like; Closed tip/Open tip, With or without Suture, with or without Guidewire, and Coated/ Uncoated. The material used is Carbothane PU mixed with Bismuth / Barium to provide Radio-opacity. Intended for one-time use. Maximum indwelling time 3 months.
